Anne Mulcahy was most recently chairman of Xerox Corporation. She stepped down from this role and from the Xerox board in 2010. From 2001 through 2009, she was also the corporation’s CEO. She retired from the CEO post in 2009 and retained the position of chairman. Before serving as CEO, Mulcahy was president and COO of Xerox from 2000 to 2001. She also served as president of Xerox’s general markets operations, which created and sold products for reseller, dealer, and retail channels. Mulcahy began her Xerox career as a field sales representative in 1976 and assumed increasingly responsible sales and senior management positions. She became chief staff officer in 1997 and corporate senior vice president in 1998. Earlier she was vice president and staff officer for customer operations. She currently serves as a director of Johnson & Johnson, Target Corporation, Graham Holdings Company, LPL Financial and chair of the board of trustees for Save the Children.
